General Cleaning
Four teams of parishioners are employed on a 4-weekly rota basis to clean and polish the Church, including the Sanctuary, Lady Chapel and Sacristy. The work includes the use of an electric floor-polisher and vacuum cleaner.
Volunteers are always needed (men and women) to join the rota; volunteers who would be willing to be included on a reserve list to cover for periods of absence of the main team members would also be welcome.
Brass Cleaning
Cleaning of the brass in the church is done once a fortnight, usually on a Thursday, and takes about 1¼ hours. There are at present 6 teams of 2 people whose turn comes round about once every two months. Volunteers are always welcome.
