The 'Twenty Ninth' Scouts are a mixed group for boys and girls covering three of the four age groups within the movement:
Beavers for those aged 6-8
Cubs for those aged 8 to 10
Scouts for those aged 10 to 15
The purpose of the group is to develop the young in a
Christian manner. Many skills are passed on to them, enabling them to organise
themselves and others and at the same time have fun completing the numerous
activities of Scouting. Spaces are nearly always present within all the section
for new members, and help however small is always welcome from adults in this
most rewarding activity.
The Group meets at the Scout Hut in Brickfield Road, as
follows:
Beavers on Wednesdays from 6.15-7.15pm
Cubs on Tuesdays from 6.30-8.00pm
Scouts on Fridays from 7.15-9.15pm
The cost is currently £42 per year, or £55 for a family
